| Another swine flu case confirmed in Sullivan County |
|
MONTICELLO – The State health Department has confirmed another positive case of swine flu in Sullivan County. Roscoe Central School District officials notified the county of a student who tested positive. The student attends Roscoe schools, but lives in neighboring Delaware County, said Sullivan County Manager David Fanslau. Roscoe school is working closely with Sullivan County to take all proper steps to minimize the spread of the flu. A letter from school officials was sent home with students Thursday, advising parents that although school will not be closing at this time, they should keep their child home with any signs of illness until symptoms are gone for 24 hours or until seven days after onset of illness, whichever is longer. On Wednesday, Sullivan officials said two residents of The Center for Discovery were diagnosed with swine flu and earlier, another person was confirmed at New Hope Community.
