| Unannounced probation visits lead to arrests |
|
GOSHEN – Seven people who are on probation have been arrested on charges that they violated that condition. They were charged as a result of unannounced home checks after visitations by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Orange County Probation Department, the Town of Chester Police Department, and the Chester and Monroe Village Police Departments. Arrested were Robert Cox, 54, Monroe; Brandon Klippel, 23, Monroe; Jorge Rebelo, 45, Monroe; David Sims, 30, Monroe; Benjamin Bower, 25, Chester; and Michael Starr, 53, Monroe. The seventh person has been classified as a juvenile offender. The six adults were remanded to Orange County Jail pending further proceedings. |
