LaGrange Town Board fills vacant seat

LAGRANGEVILLE – The LaGrange Town Board has appointed Edward Jessup to a vacant town board seat.

The slot became vacant when former councilman Dale Borchert was recently named to the Dutchess County Legislature. That seat had been previously held by long time lawmaker Robert Sears, who weeks ago stepped down because of his health. He was not planning on seeking reelection in the fall.

Jessup will have to run in November for a full term on the town board. He is currently a member of the town planning board.
