NEWBURGH – The Construction Contractors Association of the Hudson Valley has named Alan Seidman as its new executive director.

Seidman, who is completing 19 years on the Orange County Legislature, was until now vice president of business development of Clough Harbour Associates. He has also served on a number of economic development boards in the Hudson Valley.

“These are challenging times for our industry and we believe Alan has the right character and leadership skills to help the association’s membership through these times,” said Jay Holt, association vice president.

“In these challenging economic times it is more important than ever that construction is done of the highest quality and on time,” said Seidman. “No one can do that better than the members of the Construction Contractors Association.”

Seidman starts on the job on August 17.
