| One arrested following armed home invasion, second suspect sought |

YONKERS – Police in Yonkers have one of the two armed suspects who forced their way into a first floor apartment of 25 Riverview Place, early June 30. The two men broke into the apartment. One man was armed with a sawed off shotgun and one was armed with a hand gun. The men searched the house and stole two laptop computers, one cell phone, two watches and one gold chain. Reinaldo Perez, 24, of 153 Waverly Street was charged with Robbery 1st degree and Burglary 1st degree. He was arraigned in Yonkers City Court. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’5”, 160 pounds, with black hair, wearing a navy blue jacket and light blue jeans. The residents (4 adults and 5 children) in the apartment were not injured.
