| Teen graffiti artist faces felony charge |

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Police have a suspect in the graffiti damage done to six commercial buildings and one apartment building in the 700 block of Main Street, in Arlington. Police say they received several complaints about the graffiti, shortly after sunrise Wednesday morning. Police arrested Louis Martinez, 17, of 761 Main Street, Wednesday afternoon, some eight hours after the damage was reported. Martinez is charged with five counts of third degree criminal mischief, a felony, and five misdemeanor counts of making graffiti. Martinez is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. The investigation continues. Police indicate more arrests are possible. Town of Poughkeepsie Police note they have a zero tolerance policy regarding graffiti.
