| Weapons factory owner shoots himself in the leg |

WEST HURLEY – The owner of Numrich Arms Factory in West Hurley sustained an injury to his leg when he accidentally shot himself, State Police at Kingston said Wednesday. On Tuesday, police received an Ulster County 911 call of an accidental shooting at the facility on Williams Lane. The owner, George Numrich, was at the facility’s range demonstrating a Training RPC launcher which fires a single 7.62 caliber round. Numrich was cleaning the weapon when a round discharged into his leg, police said. He was transported to Benedictine Hospital for treatment. According to thefirearmblog.com, a Training RPG Launcher fires a rocket-propelled grenade.
