Rockland County man arrested after incident at Roscoe restaurant

ROSCOE – State Police have arrested a Stony Point man after he allegedly struck a parked car in the lot outside the Rockland House Restaurant in Roscoe early Tuesday morning, and then striking the building after getting into a fight with patrons at the bar there.

Jerry Bethell, 27, left the scene and was stopped on Route 206 for speeding. He was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, assault in the third degree, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and vehicle and traffic violations.

He was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail. Other charges are pending, police said.
