Body found in burned truck

ROCK HILL – When Rock Hill firefighters extinguished a blaze in a pickup truck parked outside Pizza Rock Pizza in Rock Hill early Thursday morning, they found the body of a man, officials at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office said.  The identity of the victim and the cause of the fire are unknown at this time.

When the call of a fire came in at 4 a.m., volunteer firefighters rushed to the scene and found a fully involved pickup truck. Once it was extinguished, the body was found inside.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Sullivan Count Bureau of Fire are currently investigating.
