MIDDLETOWN - Orange Regional Medical Center Monday presented plaques to the New York State Police Troop F and Mobile Life Support Services, Inc., honoring each organization’s commitment to the hospital’s Second Annual EMS Education Day held on December 6, 2008.

Hudson Valley Emergency Physician Services, led by Dr. Joanne Magro, provided the medical training to the more than 125 attendees. The event was a culmination of teamwork between Orange Regional Medical Center, Mobile Life Support Services, Inc., New York State Police Troop F and Hudson Valley Emergency Physician Services. The four organizations will continue to work together in a number of trainings scheduled throughout 2009.

Hospital President Scott Batulis praised the leadership of Orange Regional’s Emergency Department and the hospital’s EMS Liaison, John Bilancione. “The importance of our four organizations working together cannot be overstated. I applaud each of you for all of your hard work and dedication to the community and each other.”

Major Edward Raso, commander of the State Police Troop F. said the effort is “one team, one fight…it is everybody pulling together in the same direction.”
