Port Jervis woman sentenced in PA court for conspiracy

MILFORD, PA – A Port Jervis woman was sentenced to from six months to 23 months in a Pennsylvania state prison for the crime of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Deidre Walker, 22, must also serve two years of probation, pay a fine of $1,000 and restitution of $1,500.

On November 14, 2005, Walker agreed with a co-defendant, that he would enter a home in Matamoras, PA, to rob a man, according to the Pike County DA’s office.

The codefendant, while armed with a handgun, tied up the victim with his belt, and stole his wallet containing $1,500 as well as another 5,000 from the home.

When Walker was interviewed by police, she claimed she had no knowledge of the crime, when in fact, she did.
