Three charged with damaging mailboxes

BEAVER DAM – New Windsor Town Police have charged three men with intentionally damaging mailboxes along Windsor Road in the Beaver Dam Lake area of the town.

Police responded to a complaint of criminal mischief on the road at about 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 17.

Police investigated and arrested the three suspects who were identified as Jesse Johnson, 19, of Washingtonville; Joseph Gabel, and Michael Ulvila, both 21, and both from Salisbury Mills.

They were all charged with the misdemeanor of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and the violation of trespassing. Ulvila was also charged with possession of an open alcoholic beverage container on public property, a violation.

All three were arraigned and released after posting $300 cash bail.
