Man charged with inappropriately touching women

ARLINGTON – A Poughkeepsie man has been arrested and charged with grabbing the buttocks of 10 women in the Arlington area since September.

Poughkeepsie Town Police charged Andrew Zambrano, 22, of 107 Fulton Avenue in Poughkeepsie with 10 counts of forcible touching, all misdemeanors.

Police arrested Zambrano following the most recent incident on Thursday morning where a female Vassar College student reported she had just been grabbed on the behind by an unknown man on the college campus.

It turns out a total of three female Vassar students had been touched that morning on campus.

Police had been conducting an investigation since the first incident in September and nabbed Zambrano.

The day before this Vassar incident, a female Marist College student was accosted in front of that campus on Route 9. A man grabbed her, but she was able to get away when she screamed and a nearby male student came running over. That suspect was arrested within 10 minutes. Joseph Kline, 47, was charged with attempted kidnapping.
