Town of Highland receives air quality grant

NARROWSBURG – The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) has given the Town of Highland a grant for $8,125 to install a new air quality system in town hall in Eldred.

The grant enabled the Town of Highland to significantly improve air quality in this facility used for municipal administration and public assemblies by local organizations.

It was discovered upon inspection that the insulation had become compacted or wet, reducing its ability to decrease airborne allergens and to provide a barrier against loss of heating and cooling efforts.

The town spent $8,200 on this project.
