MONTICELLO – A Brooklyn man got more than he expected when he paid a Monticello woman for sex on Monday.

Village Police said a 24-year-old man had paid Niaka Brown, 39, to perform a sex act in a vehicle on Park Avenue in Monticello and then robbed him of $600 in cash.

Brown was charged with felony third-degree robbery and misdemeanor prostitution.

She was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
