Man charged in baseball bat assault

NEVERSINK – State police have charged a Fallsburg man with assault for allegedly attacking two people with a baseball bat, causing head injuries to both.

Jesse Horos, 19, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Another person with him, Brenden Brandl, 19, of Neversink, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Police said he was there, but was not involved in the assault.

Brandl was released on an appearance ticket. Horos was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.

The incident occurred on Saturday.
