| First round of clean water infrastructure grants announced for Hudson Valley |

| ALBANY – A big chunk of federal stimulus
money is on its way to Middletown to be used for water and waste water
infrastructure upgrades. The city will receive $27.8 million and Mayor
Marlinda Duncanson said the city will use its new found money to fund
the wastewater project. The price tag on that is $30 million. Work began
in mid-February. Other infrastructure money from the stimulus package will go to the
counties of Rockland and Westchester.
