Orange County Day
Celebrate Orange County! The following museums are free to OC residents that day. Storm King Art Center, Museum of the Hudson Highlands. Half price museums are Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame of the Trotter- Hill Hold Museum, Brick House Museum, Museum Village. Brotherhood Wineries is offering a free tour- Thomas Bull Park and Winding Hills Park offer 1/2 price boating.

We have an awards presentation at noon at the Historic 1841 Courthouse in Goshen to 4th grade art contest winners and at 3 we have an additional ceremony for essay and poetry contest winners where they will read their entries and get their fabulous awards. Also, we will present Marion Mohr Wild the award for OC Day Revered Citizen of the year.

We encourage residents to take advantage of the above, or just take a walk or a bike ride or a drive along the numerous beautiful back roads of our glorious county and appreciate living here.

Our motto is "Become a Tourist in Your Own County".



Audubon Society field trip
Time: 6:00am
High elevation songbirds and nesting forest birds to Balsam Lake Mountain

Bike, Skate and Scooter Sundays
Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Location: Bronx River Parkway in White Plains
A portion of the Bronx River Parkway closes to vehicular traffic and opens for bicycles, skates and scooters between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., excluding holiday weekends, in May and June. In the event of rain, the Bike, Skate & Scooter Sundays will be cancelled.

Admission is free; parking at the Westchester County Center is $4.



All dolled up and no place to go
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Muscoot Farm in Somers
The animals at Muscoot Farm will look better than ever after they are groomed as though they were getting ready to go to a country fair.

Learn the fine art of washing, grooming and hoof care in this program in which members of the Muscoot Gang 4-H Club will spruce up many of the permanent residents of Muscoot, including cows and sheep.

The program is free and registration is not required.


Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Time: 2:00pm
Location: The Bardavon, Poughkeepsie, NY
Hudson Valley Performing Arts proudly presents Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's award winning Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Poughkeepsie's historic Bardavon 1869 Opera House for an unheard of seven performance run.

The musical sends the inspiring message: If you follow your dreams there are no limits to what you can achieve. This story is told with the help of a live 8 piece orchestra, elaborate sets including motorized turntables and gigantic stair cases, lighting by professional designer Michael Reese who works on Broadway and across the world as a professional lighting designer, an extremely talented and versatile cast of close to 80 that range in ages from 4-70+.

Performance times are: June 13,14 at 8pm, June 15 @ 2&7pm, June 20 at 8pm, and June 21 at 2&8pm. Tickets are $24 for adults and $22 for students/seniors, and $19 for Bardavon members and groups of 10 or more.
