Citizens Foundation hosts tour of Dia:Beacon
Time: 4:00pm
Location: Newburgh waterfront (departure point for buses)
The Orange County Citizens Foundation will host a tour of Dia:Beacon followed by dinner at Torches on Hudson in Newburgh. The Foundation has planned the tour as part of its ongoing commitment to furthering cultural awareness and appreciation for the arts among Orange County residents.

The new Dia:Beacon is a significant cultural addition to the Hudson Valley. Dedicated to the Dia Art Foundation's renowned collection of American and European art of the 1960s and 1970s, the museum houses some of the world's modern masterpieces. These cultural gems, many of which could not be easily accommodated by more conventional museums because of size and character, are now housed in the former Nabisco printing facility in the City of Beacon.

Sponsors of the evening include CH Energy Group, Gallagher Transportation, and M&T Bank. Tickets cost $45 each and includes transportation, admisssion and dinner. Advance notice and payment is required.

For more information or to attend, please contact the Citizens Foundation at 845-469-9459.
