FPPL Yard Sale

Location: Plattekill Public Library at 2047 State Route 32 in Modena
Friends of the Plattekill Public Library will be hosting a Yard Sale on Saturday, June 14. Come and join in the fun of browsing through hundreds of items while helping the Friends Group raise funds for the summer reading program at the library.

While you are at the library, why don't you stop in upstairs to pick up the "Picture This, Imagine That" summer reading brochure and calendars? There will be storytimes, crafts, Harry Potter birthday party, scrapbooking, performers, and activities for everyone.

So come on June 14 and pick up some great bargains!

Go Fishing with Dad

Sharing the experiences of fishing has always been fun and exciting. On Saturday, June 14, bring your Dad (and Mom too) to Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center and share the excitement of fishing! Poles and instructions will be provided.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Hudson Valley Performing Arts proudly presents Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's award winning Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Poughkeepsie's historic Bardavon 1869 Opera House for an unheard of seven performance run.

The musical sends the inspiring message: If you follow your dreams there are no limits to what you can achieve. This story is told with the help of a live 8 piece orchestra, elaborate sets including motorized turntables and gigantic stair cases, lighting by professional designer Michael Reese who works on Broadway and across the world as a professional lighting designer, an extremely talented and versatile cast of close to 80 that range in ages from 4-70+.

Performance times are: June 13,14 at 8pm, June 15 @ 2&7pm, June 20 at 8pm, and June 21 at 2&8pm. Tickets are $24 for adults and $22 for students/seniors, and $19 for Bardavon members and groups of 10 or more.
