Hospital Foundation golf outing
Location: Branton Woods Golf Club in Hopewell Junction
Committee members are busy planning the first annual Golf Outing for the St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Foundation. The proceeds from the outing will go towards the purchase of radiology equipment for the hospital emergency departments, now under construction.

Branton Woods Golf Club is recognized as one of the premier golf facilities in the New York metropolitan area. It was rated as the second best new upscale public course in the country in 2002, according to Golf Digest.

Amputee/Limb Loss Support Group
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Saint Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie
An informational meeting expected to lead to formation of a Amputee/Limb Loss Support Group, will be held on Thursday, June 12.

Individuals with limb loss are invited to attend the meeting which will bring together people who share a common situation and provide them with a place to meet and the opportunity to learn from one another and share access to pertinent information,

Patricia Nocket, RN., clinical director of Patient Care Service for Saint Francis Hospital, says every person's experience in amputee/limb loss is different but each shares some similar experiences. The hospital offering to host this support group is part of a natural progression, she said.

'We have been well regarded in the field of Rehabilitation for many years with our 26 bed impatient Rehabilitation Unit and our extensive out-patient rehabilitation services for people recovering from disabling illnesses or injures," she said.

MHGAA meeting
Time: 6:00pm
Location: The Spruce Lodge, Rt. 17K in Coldenham (Exit 6 off I-84 West)
The Mid Hudson Graphic Arts Association will hold its final meeting of the Association year on Thursday, June 12. Installation of Officers for 2003-2004 will take place as well as the annual Auction which helps supplement the Scholarship Fund. Area businesses are welcome to donate goods and services to the Auction (items do not have to be Printing/Graphic Arts related). The Scholarships for 2002-2003 will also be awarded to the winners at this meeting. Cost is $22 for members and $27 for guests. Network hour is at 6PM, with dinner, program, and auction to follow at 7PM. Cost: members, $22, guests $27.

Westchester County Urban County Consortium
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: Greenburgh Town Hall, 320 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford
Two meetings will be held to give the public an opportunity to comment on the needs for the Westchester County Consortium for the administration of federal grant programs for inclusion in the FY 2004-2008 Consolidated Plan. These programs include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and HOME programs. The public hearings will be held:
