Green technologies open house
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: SUNY Orange
SUNY Orange will collaborate with the Mid-Hudson Energy Smart Communities and Sustainable Hudson Valley to offer a "Green Careers and Green Technology Courses" Open House in the Gilman Center for International Education on the College's Middletown campus.

SUNY Orange's Continuing Education staff will highlight the College's upcoming non-credit course offerings in green technologies, including courses that train students in installing photovoltaic solar panels, accredit students in geothermal installation processes and prepare students to design solar hot water systems. The College has scheduled Jan. 28 (same time and location) as a snow date for the event.

QM2 Cruise Information Day
Time: 2:00pm
Location: Peach Grove Inn (See below for time details)
The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring two sessions to learn more about its July 1-5 cruise to Nova Scotia aboard the Queen Mary II. The sessions are from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.

Cunard Representative, Catherine Anderson, CTC, ECC, District Sales Manager, will conduct the presentation and be available for questions.

Refreshments will be served and a tour of the Inn is optional.

2nd Anniversary Celebration for The Hub
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Shadows on the Hudson, 176 Rinaldi Blvd, Poughkeepsie
Come dressed to impress as we celebrate our Two Year Anniversary and another year of smashing success for the Hub (Young Professionals of the Hudson Valley). With nearly 300 members, the Hub objectives are to make the Hudson Valley a better place for young professionals.

Orange County Legislator Melissa Bonacic, Mount Hope Supervisor Bill Novak, and Mount Hope Councilman Mike Bell will meet with constituents

Two-Penny Social
Time: 1:00pm
Location: Wappingers Falls, off Route 9D
St. Mary's School, Wappingers Falls.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Calling at 1 p.m.

Over 200 new items to choose from, plus raffle table, 50/50 and food available.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31.

Pancake Breakfast
Time: 7:30am - 9:15am
Location: Reformed Church on Huguenot Street in New Paltz
Youth Choir will be hosting its 17th Annual Pancake Breakfast.

Adults are $5 while children are $3. Tickets are available now and at the door. Please call the office at 255 6340 for more information.
